Where to Get a Cheap Treadmill

If you are looking for a cheap treadmill, then you are part of a growing trend. There is a huge movement towards working out at home. The convenience of having some home gym equipment just can't be beat. But there is one problem that many people face - The high cost of initially purchasing fitness equipment for home use.

The treadmill is still one of the most popular pieces of fitness equipment. It is good for building endurance and general fitness levels. It can be used by all the family and is safe to use. Unfortunately it is also one of the most expensive pieces of equipment as well.

There are a number of options to get hold of a cheap machine. You can trawl online around the bargain sites. The biggest of these is eBay. You will probably want to find somebody that is local to you so you can go and pick the machine up. Having someone local also means that you have the option to go and view the machine, before you part with any cash.

Another option for finding local sellers is to use Craigslist. These are listings that are based around various cities throughout the States. You will see plenty of bargains on this.

The type of people that are ideal to buy from are people that have only used the machine a few times and then given up on exercising. Sometimes people are moving house and a treadmill will not fit in their new home. Or maybe they're having a baby and the treadmill in the spare room is going to make way for a nursery.

The type of person you don't want to buy from is somebody that has been using the machine to train for marathons for the last 4 years. You know that such a machine is probably going to develop a fault sooner rather than later.

Other options for finding treadmills in your local area include advertising for a machine. This doesn't have to cost you anything. Just ask to put up some posters or postcards in your local gym and in local shop windows. In the advert, say what you are after and the amount that you are willing to pay. If you have a PennySaver type newspaper you can also advertise in there.

Using these techniques will unearth cheap treadmills that you can buy in your local area. In fact you could find that you are spoilt for choice.
